(1) Divide equal parts of a chapati among five kids and find out how much part each will get.
(2) Divide 4 chapaties equally among three kids and find out how much part each will get.
Solution:
If one chapti is divided among 5 kids, then each kid will get \(\frac{1}{5}\) chapati.

If 4 chapatis divided among three kids, then all the three kids got 1 complete chapati and \(\frac{1}{3}\) chapati also. So, each kid will get 1 + \(\frac{1}{3}\) or 1\(\frac{1}{3}\)

Question 1.
If 5. chapatis are equally distributed between 2 kids, then how many chapatis will each kid have?
Solution:
5 chapatis are distributed between 2 kids = \(\frac{5}{2}\) = 2 + \(\frac{1}{2}\)
It means each kid got 2 and half chapatis.
Question 2.
Represent 6 + on number line.
Solution:
This numbr is more than 6 and less than 7, so it lies between 6 and 7. So, divide the distance between 6 and 7 in three equal parts. Second part shows \(\frac{2}{3}\).
In this way, we can show 6 + \(\frac{2}{3}\) number line.

Solution:
This number is greater than 3 aiid less than 4. Divide the distance between 3 and 4 in four equal parts. Third part 3
