→ In animals sexual and asexual reproduction is present. In sexual reproduction male and female gamete fuse.

→ The reproductive organs in male is testes, sperm ducts and penis while the female reproductive organs includes ovaries, oviducts and uterus.

→ The fusion of ovum and sperm is called fertilization. The fertilized egg is called a zygote. Fertilization that takes place inside the female body is called internal fertilization and which takes place outside the female body is called external fertilization.
