Fortunately, during last holidays after final examination. I visited the famous ‘Trinetra Ganesh Temple’ in Ranthamboure, Sawai Madhopur alongwith my family members and our hosts of the place who happened to be our uncles and their family. My uncle had given us prior instructions about the rules of the temple campus. Plucking of flowers, running here and there, making a loud noise were completely pro¬hibited. We followed the rules like others and received blessings of priests of the temple.

At some places, there were small cascades too. The natural atmosphere was very pleasant there.

We would collect the things required for mountaineering such as special dress (suitable for mountaineering), gloves, sticks, pointed iron nails, pointed shoes, dry and preserved food items, cords, hooks, hammer, torch, sleeping bag, etc., and before some days we will check our blood pressure, etc. We will practise walking on foot, and will gather other important information related to mountaineering.

If you have visited any tourist place, then write your experience about the trash there. What suggestions will you give to prevent the scattering of trash?
Answer: 
Once, I got a chance to visit such a tourist place along vith my family. I was de-lighted to see the beauty, greenery, valleys of flowers, etc., there. But it was very painful to see that the tourists had left trash there such as empty cAnswer: plastic bottles, wrappers, plastic bags, paper, disposable plates, glasses etc. This trash was causing great harm to the environment of that place.
 
The following suggestions can be given to prevent the scattering of trash-

  1. At tourist places, enough number of the dustbins should be placed.
  2. Foodstuffs should be packed in paper, not in plastic and polythene bags, because paper gets destroyed very soon.
  3. Tourists should be advised or allowed to bring least possible things with them.
  4. Public awareness should be created. Importance of cleanliness should be explained as much as possible. Trash causes pollution, so harmful effects of environmental pollution should be explained as much as possible.
  5. Plastic bags or polythenes bags should be completely banned at tourist places.

During his training in Nehru mountaineering in 1982, he made his climbing expeditions of 21,900 feet to Gangotri mountain and 19,091 feet to Rundugera mountain.
