Home of Ants: A home of ants is like a colony of ants. In a colony, there can be lakhs of ants. Ants make their colony under the soil, in tree trunks and secured and safe places in our houses.
Different types of ants and their works :
In a colony of ants, there are three types of ants-

  1. The Queen Ant- In a colony of ants, there is generally one special ant. This is called the Queen ant. To lay eggs is its work.
  2. The Worker Ants- The work of these ants is to search food, to take care of the eggs, to make home, etc.
  3. The Soldier Ants- These ants are responsible for safeguarding the eggs and their homes. They do their works collectively. Only one ant can’t do all the work.
