Answer: 
In the olden days, the loan taken out was at a high-interest rate. In the event of failure to repay the loan, moneylenders used to grab the farmer's cattle, property and agriculture, while the co-operative societies in the bank provide the facility of repayment of loans in installments at low-interest rates. In case of disaster, the time limit for loan payment is also extended, so that the farmers repay the loan of the bank conveniently.

The bank does the work of money transfer ctions, gives interest on deposits, takes interest on loans the bank provides loans to various industries, individuals and works related to agriculture, moneylender societies also provide loans to farmers for agricultural works.
