The man who sells juice on an ordinary shop in a neighbourhood market cannot afford to advertise his product. Whereas the major companies who sell the branded drinks through the expensive advertising are able to make more customers. A poor farmer like Swapna does not have sufficient resources to grow cotton and has to take loan from the trader to grow her crop on a high rate of interest. In return, the trader forced Swapna to sell her cotton at a very low price. Melani a domestic worker was forced to tolerate the insults and hardships of working as a domestic help because she has no other source to set up something on her own.
