Yes, even plants show movements like animals. Plants show two different types of movements, one is independent on growth and the other is dependent on growth. They show movement in response to light, known as phototropism and movement of a plant part in response to gravity, known as geotropism.

(a) When the rounded end of one bone fits into the hollow space of other bone, it is called a ball and socket joint. Ball and socket joints allow movements in all the directions, e.g. shoulder and hip can be moved in all directions.
(b) In skull, all the joints are movable except the lower jaw.
(c) Our elbow cannot move backwards because the elbow has a hinge joint that allows movement in only one plane.
