RBSE Class 6 Science Chapter 1 Notes भोजन: यह कहाँ से आता है?
→ हमारे देश के विभिन्न राज्यों में रहने वाले लोगों द्वारा खाए जाने वाले भोजन में बहुत अधिक विविधता पायी जाती है।
→ हमें भोजन मुख्यतः पौधों तथा जन्तुओं से प्राप्त होता है तथा हम अलग-अलग समय में अलग-अलग प्रकार का भोजन करते हैं।
→ पौधों से हमें विभिन्न खाद्य पदार्थ जैसे-अन्न, सब्जी, फल आदि तथा जन्तुओं से दूध, मांस, अंडे तथा अन्य खाद्य पदार्थ प्राप्त होते हैं, जिन्हें हम अपने भोजन में शामिल करते हैं।
→ साधारणतया विभिन्न पौधों के विभिन्न भागों अर्थात् पत्तियाँ, जड़, तना, फल व पुष्प का उपयोग खाद्य पदार्थ के रूप में किया जाता है।
→ मधुमक्खियाँ फूलों के रस को चूसकर मकरंद (शहद) के रूप में अपने छत्तों में भंडारित करती हैं।
→ पादप तथा पादप उत्पाद खाने वाले जन्तु, शाकाहारी जन्तु कहलाते हैं। जैसे-गाय।
→ ऐसे जन्तु, जो केवल दूसरे प्राणियों को खाते हैं, वे मांसाहारी जन्तु कहलाते हैं। जैसे-शेर।
→ पादप तथा जन्तु, दोनों को ही खाने वाले जन्तु सर्वाहारी कहलाते हैं। जैसे-मानव, कौआ।
