Travelling Without Ticket One Day

I had to go to Kota urgently. When I reached the railway station, I was late. The train was ready. It was about to depart. If I had bought the ticket, the train would have moved from the station. Therefore, I boarded the train without buying the ticket. My heart was beating fast. I know that travelling without ticket is a punishable offence. Then, suddenly the ticket examiner entered my compartment when the train reached Sawai Madhopur.

When he came to me, I requested him very humbly to issue me a ticket for Chandigarh. First, he asked many questions and scolded me too. But when I told him the truth why I could not buy a ticket, he agreed. He charged some penalty from me and issued me a ticket. He warned me not to travel again without ticket. That day this incident gave me a great lesson.
