नींबू-पानी बनाने के लिए मुख्यतः एक बर्तन, नमक, चीनी, नींबू, एक छलनी आदि की आवश्यकता होती है।

Activity-III.

A. The teacher will read out the following paragraph to the students. They will listen carefully. After that they will discuss the process of making Nimboo-Paani in groups.

अध्यापक निम्न अनुच्छेद को पढ़कर विद्यार्थियों को सुनायेंगे। वे सावधानीपूर्वक सुनेंगे। इसके बाद वे समूहों में नींबू-पानी बनाने की प्रक्रिया पर विचार-विमर्श करेंगे। 

We take a vessel. Then we pour two glasses of drinking water into it. After that we add three teaspoons of sugar and a pinch of salt to it. Then, we take a ripe lemon and cut it into two pieces with a knife. After that, the juice of the squeezed lemon pieces is poured into water in the vessel. Then the mixture is stirred with a teaspoon until the sugar and salt have dissolved completely. After that the liquid is strained through a sieve. We serve the Nimboo-Paani (Shikanji / lemon juice) in a tray. 

हम एक द्रव पात्र लेते हैं। फिर हम इसमें पीने के पानी के दो गिलास डाल देते हैं। इसके बाद हम चीनी की तीन छोटी चम्मच तथा एक चुटकी नमक इसमें मिलाते हैं। तब हम एक पका हुआ नींबू लेते हैं तथा एक चाकू से इसके दो भाग करते हैं। इसके बाद, दोनों टुकड़ों को निचोड़कर इनके रस को पानी वाले पात्र में डालते हैं। फिर एक छोटी चम्मच से इसको उस समय तक मिलाते हैं जब तक कि चीनी तथा नमक पूरी तरह से नहीं घुल जायें। हम नींबूपानी को एक ट्रे में परोसते हैं।

Ingredients 

• 2 glasses of milk
• 1 bowl of raw rice
• 6 tablespoons of sugar 
• 2 cardamoms (hari elaichi) 

Answer:
We take an utensil. We pour two glasses of milk into it. Then put the utensil on a stove-gas for boiling. After it add a bowl of raw rice. When it starts boiling, add six tablespoons of sugar in it. When the rice has cooked, add two cardamoms in it. Now Kheer is ready. 

हम एक बर्तन लेते हैं। हम उसमें दो गिलास दूध उँडेलते हैं। फिर उबालने के लिए बर्तन को एक गैस चूल्हे पर रख देते हैं। इसके बाद कच्चे चावल का एक प्याला मिलाते हैं। जब यह उबलने लगता है, चीनी के छ: बड़े चम्मच इसमें डालते हैं। जब चावल पक चुका होता है, दो इलायची इसमें डालते हैं। अब खीर तैयार है।

5. एक पका हुआ नींबू लो।
