The land, water bodies and the air undergo various changes upon receiving energy from the sun, which in turn affects the temperature, humidity, rainfall, and wind speed, as well as direction. Thus, the sun directly contributes to the weather of any place that gives us the climate over a long time.

Rajasthan has a hot and dry climate, which is a typical desert climate. The reason is, the temperature is high during most of the year in Rajasthan, During winter, which lasts only for a few months, the temperature is quite low. This region receives very little rainfall. All these factors contribute to making its climate hot and dry.

Adaptive features of beard ape or lion-tailed macaque : 
They live in the rainforests of western ghats. Its most outstanding feature is the silver-white mane, which surrounds the head from the cheeks down to the chin. It is a good climber and spends a major part of its life on trees. It feeds mainly on fruits. It also eats seeds, young leaves, stems, flowers, and buds. This beard ape also searches for insects under the bark of the trees. Since it is able to get sufficient food on trees, it rarely comes down on the ground.
