Answer:
(i) 0.2 × 6 ∵ 2 × 6 = 12 and there is 1 place to the right of decimal point.
∴ 2 × 6 = 1.2
(ii) 8 × 4.6
Answer:
8 × 4.6 = ∵ 8 × 46 = 368 and there is 1 place to the right of decimal point.
∴ 8×4.6 = 36.8
(iii) 2.71 × 5
Answer:
2.71 × 5 = ∵ 271 × 5 = 1355 and there are 2 places to the right of decimal point.
∴ 2.71×5=13.55
(iv) 20.1 × 4

∵ Distance covered in one litre of petrol = 55.3 km
