Question 1. 
Why did Rohit find no friends in the garden to play with ? 
रोहित को बगीचे में खेलने के लिए कोई भी मित्र क्यों नहीं मिला? 
Answer:
Rohit found no friends to play in the garden because all his friends had gone to school. 
रोहित को बगीचे में खेलने के लिए कोई भी मित्र इसलिए नहीं मिला क्योंकि उसके सभी मित्र विद्यालय में पढ़ने गए थे। 

Question 2. 
Why did the birds and animals in the garden not play with Rohit ?
बगीचे में उपस्थित पक्षी एवं जानवर रोहित के साथ क्यों नहीं खेले? 
Answer: 
All the birds and animals in the garden were busy in doing their own work, therefore they did not play with Rohit. 
बगीचे में उपस्थित सभी पक्षी एवं जानवर अपने-अपने काम में व्यस्त थे, इसी कारणवश वे रोहित के साथ नहीं खेले। 

Question 3.
In the end of the story Rohit's parents were happy with him. Why? 
कहानी के अन्त में रोहित के माता-पिता रोहित से प्रसन्न थे। क्यों? 
Answer: 
Rohit's parents were happy with him in the end of the story because he had now become a punctual boy and had given up laziness. 
रोहित के माता-पिता कहानी के अन्त में रोहित से इसलिए प्रसन्न थे क्योंकि अब रोहित आलस्य त्यागकर समय-पालन करने वाला लड़का बन गया था।

The sentences given below have some underlined words. 

Fill in the blanks choosing their opposites from the box. 

नीचे दिए वाक्यों में कुछ शब्द रेखांकित किए गए हैं। उनके विपरीत अर्थ वाले शब्दों को बॉक्स में से चुनकर रिक्त स्थानों में भरिए।

Activity - IV.

Your teacher will divide the class in two groups. One group will speak a sentence from the text about Rohit. Another group will change that sentence changing its subject from Rohit to I. 
आपके अध्यापक कक्षा को दो दलों में बाँटेंगे। एक वर्ग पाठ में से रोहित के विषय में एक वाक्य बोलेगा। दूसरा वर्ग उस वाक्य को रोहित का नाम हटाकर, I लगाकर बदलेगा।

Write a paragraph about your daily routine. You may use these hints in your paragraph writing
अपनी रोज की दिनचर्या का वर्णन करते हुए एक पैराग्राफ लिखिए। आप इन सुझावों को अपना पैराग्राफ लिखने के लिए इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं

I get up at five o'clock in the morning and wash my face. Then I brush my teeth and take bath. I have breakfast prepared by mother, dress myself and go to school at nine o'clock. I study different subjects there and play with my friends during the recess. I take my lunch, too. I return home at four o'clock in the evening. At five o'clock I go to the park to play with my friends. I return home at six o'clock and complete my homework. After that, I have my dinner and watch T.V. for some time. I go to bed at nine o'clock.
