In the above examples the two words have been joined with the word 'and'. The word 'and' is used to join two words (nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, etc.)

E. Study the following words from the poem -

कविता में से निम्न शब्दों का अध्ययन करें

eyes, ears, hands, clothes. 

The above words refer to two or more than two things/objects/persons and they are called the plural forms of the singular nouns i.e. eye, ear, hand, cloth. They have been made plural with the addition of 's' or 'es' to them. Similarly 'feet' is the plural form of 'foot' and likewise teeth' is the plural form of 'tooth'. 

उपर्युक्त शब्द दो या दो से अधिक वस्तुओं/ पदार्थों/व्यक्तियों का उल्लेख करते हैं तथा वे एकवचन संज्ञा अर्थात् आँख, कान, हाथ, पोशाक का बहुवचन कहलाते हैं। वे इनमें '' या 'es' के जुड़ने से बहुवचन बने हैं। उसी प्रकार 'feet' बहुवचन है 'foot' का तथा| वैसा ही 'teeth' बहुवचन है 'tooth' का। Now write some other words having plural forms from the poem. अब कविता में से कुछ दूसरे बहुवचन शब्दों को लिखें।

कठिन शब्दार्थ-for (फ़(र)) = के लिए। drink (ड्रिङ्क्) = द्रव पदार्थ पीना । and (अन्ड्) = और, एवं, तथा। food (फूड्) = भोजन । eat (ईट) = खाना। eyes (आइज) = आँखें। ears (इअ(1)ज) = कान | hands (हैन्ड्ज ) = हाथ । feet (फीट) = पैर । thank (थैङ्क्) = आभार प्रकट करना। god (गॉड्) = परमेश्वर, परमात्मा।
