RBSE Class 9 English Story Writing

Story एक घटना (incident) या गतिविधि (event) का क्रमबद्ध विवरण होती है। प्रायः इससे हमें कोई न कोई शिक्षा मिलती है। How to Write a Story ( कहानी कैसे लिखें) 

(1) कहानी दिये हुए Hints, outline के आधार पर लिखें तथा उसका क्रम न बदलें। 
(2) कहानी का एक शीर्षक (Heading, title) पृष्ठ के बीचों-बीच लिखें। 
(3) कहानी सामान्यतः Past Tense में लिखी जाती है। 
(4) कहानी एक या अधिक Paragraphs में लिख सकते हैं। 
(5) कहानी के वाक्य छोटे, प्रभावी व व्याकरण की दृष्टि से (grammatically) सही होने चाहिए। 
(6) शब्दों की spelling सही होनी चाहिए। 
(7) Hints या Outline में Verb के साथ प्रायः 's' जुड़ा हुआ रहता है। आपको ‘s' हटाकर verb की first form समझनी है, तत्पश्चात् आवश्यकतानुसार Tense के आधार पर II या III form बनायें। 
(8) कहानी समाप्त होने के बाद एक लाइन छोड़कर कहानी का Moral (शिक्षा/सबक) लिखें। 
(9) कहानी में शब्द-सीमा 50 से 70 का ध्यान रखें।

A Hare and a Tortoise
Once upon a time there lived a hare and a tortoise in a forest. They were fast friends. The hare laughed at the slow speed of the tortoise. Once they decided to run a race. They started. The hare ran fast. He decided to take rest under a tree and slept. The tortoise went on slowly. It reached the goal. Later the hare woke up and ran fast but lost the race. The tortoise won the race. 
Moral : Slow but steady wins the race. 

एक खरगोश और एक कछुआ
एक बार एक जंगल में एक खरगोश व एक कछुआ रहते थे। वे घनिष्ठ दोस्त थे। खरगोश कछुए की धीमी चाल की मजाक उड़ाता था। एक बार उन्होंने दौड़ लगाने का निर्णय किया। उन्होंने शुरुआत की। खरगोश तेज दौडा। उसने एक पेड़ के नीचे आराम करने का निर्णय किया और सो गया। कछुए ने धीरे-धीरे दौड़ जारी रखी। वह लक्ष्य पर पहुँच गया। बाद में खरगोश जागा व तेज दौड़ा किन्तु दौड़ हार गया। कछुए ने दौड़ जीत ली। 
शिक्षा : धीरे किन्तु निरन्तर कार्य करने वाला जीतता है।

Using the outlines given below, write a full story in 50 to 70 words. Write its heading and moral too.

Answer:
Two Friends and a Bear
Once two friends were going through a forest. They saw a big bear coming to them. One friend ran and climbed up a tree. The other lay down on the ground like a dead person. The bear came to him. It smelled him and went away. The other friend came down and asked, “What did the bear say in your ear ?" He replied that the bear said not to trust a false friend. His friend was ashamed. 
Moral : Never trust on false friends. 

दो मित्र और एक भालू
एक बार दो दोस्त एक वन में से जा रहे थे। उन्होंने एक बड़ा भालू अपनी ओर आते हुए देखा। एक दोस्त दौड़ा व एक पेड़ पर चढ़ गया। दूसरा जमीन पर मृत व्यक्ति समान लेट गया। भालू उसके पास आया। इसने उसे सूंघा और चला गया। दूसरा दोस्त नीचे आया और पूछा "तुम्हारे कान में भालू ने क्या कहा?" उसने जवाब दिया कि भालू ने कहा कि झूठे दोस्तों पर विश्वास मत करो। वह दोस्त शर्मिन्दा था। 
शिक्षा : झूठे दोस्तों पर कभी भी विश्वास मत करो।

Union Is Strength
Once there was an old farmer. He had four sons. They always quarrelled. One day the farmer was very ill. He called his sons. He gave them a bundle of sticks and asked to break it. No one could break it. He then untied the bundle. Then he asked the sons to break the sticks. They broke the sticks easily one by one. Now the farmer suggested them to live united like the bundle so that no one can harm them. They never quarrelled again. 
Moral : Union is strength. 

संगठन में शक्ति है
एक बार एक बूढ़ा किसान था। उसके चार बेटे थे। वे हमेशा झगड़ते थे। एक दिन किसान बहुत बीमार हो गया। उसने अपने बेटों को बुलाया। उसने उन्हें लकड़ियों का एक गट्ठर दिया और इसे तोड़ने के लिए कहा। कोई भी इसे न तोड़ सका। उसने तब गट्ठर को खोल दिया। तब उसने बेटों को लकड़ियों को तोड़ने को कहा। उन्होंने आसानी से एक-एक लकड़ियों को तोड़ दिया।अब किसान ने उन्हें गट्ठर के समान संगठित रहने का सुझाव दिया जिससे उन्हें कोई हानि न पहुँचा सके। वे पुनः कभी नहीं लड़े। 
शिक्षा : संगठन में शक्ति है।

The Hare and The Lion
Once upon a time there was a lion in a jungle. It used to kill and eat animals. All the animals went to the lion collectively. They requested him for mercy. They agreed the lion that one animal would come to him daily for his meal. One day it was a hare's turn. It thought of a plan. It reached to him very late. It told the lion that it was detained by an another lion. On asking it took the lion to a well. The lion saw own reflection and jumped into the well. 
Moral : Wisdom is power. 

खरगोश और शेर
एक बार एक जंगल में एक शेर था। यह जानवरों को मारता व खाता था। सभी जानवर इकट्ठे शेर के पास गए। उन्होंने दया की प्रार्थना की। उन्होंने शेर को सहमत कर लिया कि उसके भोजन के लिए हर रोज एक जानवर आयेगा। एक दिन एक खरगोश की बारी थी। इसने एक योजना सोची। वह वहाँ देरी से पहुंचा। उसने शेर को बताया कि एक अन्य शेर ने उसे रोक लिया। कहने पर, वह शेर को गया। शेर ने अपना प्रतिबिम्ब देखा और कुँए में कूद गया। 
शिक्षा : बुद्धि ही बल है।

Moral : Nature never changes. 

एक किसान और एक साँप
एक बार एक किसान था। एक ठण्डी शाम वह घर लौट रहा था। उसने रास्ते में एक साँप देखा। यह ठण्ड से लगभग जमा हुआ था। वह इसे घर ले गया। उसने साँप को आग के पास रखा। इसने गर्मी पाई और होश में आ गया। किसान ने इसे दूध दिया। यह चलने लगा। वहाँ उसका बच्चा खेल रहा था। साँप ने इसे काट खाने का प्रयास किया। किसान को गुस्सा आ गया। उसने इसे एक लकड़ी से मार दिया। 
शिक्षा : स्वभाव कभी नहीं बदलता है।

The Hidden Treasure 
Once there was an old farmer. He had four sons. They were very lazy. The farmer was very anxious about them. One day he fell ill. He called his sons. He told them that there was a treasure hidden in the field. They should dig the field and get the treasure. The farmer died. His sons dug the field. But they did not find any treasure. They were very sad. On neighbours' advice they sowed the field. The crop was very good. Now they understood what their father meant to treasure. They began to work hard in life and became rich. 
Moral : Work is worship. 

छुपा खजाना
एक बार बूढ़ा किसान था। उसके चार बेटे थे। वे बहुत सुस्त थे। किसान उनके बारे में बहुत चिन्तित था। एक दिन वह बीमार हो गया। उसने अपने बेटों को बुलाया। उसने उन्हें बताया कि खेत में एक छुपा हुआ खजाना है। उन्हें खेत को खोदना चाहिए तथा खजाना प्राप्त करना चाहिए। किसान मर गया। उसके बेटों ने खेत की खुदाई की। परन्तु उन्हें कोई खजाना नहीं मिला। वे बहुत दु:खी थे। पड़ोसियों की सलाह पर उन्होंने खेत की बुआई की। फसल बहुत अच्छी थी। अब वे समझ गए थे कि उनके पिताजी का खजाने से क्या मतलब था। उन्होंने जीवन में कड़ी मेहनत शुरू की तथा धनी हो गए। 
शिक्षा : काम ही पूजा है।

He found a golden ring inside. The king's name was on it. He went to the king with the ring. He gave it to him. The king was very pleased. He gave him many ornaments. 
Moral : Honesty is the best policy. 

एक ईमानदार मछुआरा
एक बार एक मछुआरा था। वह बहुत ईमानदार था। एक दिन उसने जाल में एक बड़ी मछली पकड़ी। वह इसके साथ अपने घर आया। उसने तेज धार वाले चाक से मछली के पेट को काटा/चीरा । उसे एक सोने की अंगूठी मिली। इस पर राजा का नाम था। वह इसके साथ राजा के पास गया। उसने इसे उसे दिया। राजा बहुत खुश था। उसने उसे बहुत गहने दिये। 
शिक्षा : ईमानदारी सबसे अच्छी नीति है।

The Hungry Fox and The Grapes
Once there was a fox. It was very hungry one day. He went here and there in search of food. It went to a vineyard. It saw a bunch of ripe and sweet grapes. Water came in its mouth. She wanted to eat them but the bunch was very high. The fox could not reach it. It jumped again and again but in vain. It was very sad. It went away saying "The grapes are sour.” 
Moral : Grapes out of reach said to be sour. 

भूखी लोमड़ी और अंगूर
एक बार एक लोमड़ी थी। एक दिन यह बहुत भूखी थी। वह भोजन की तलाश में इधर-उधर गई। यह अंगूर के एक बगीचे में गयी। इसने पका हुआ एवं मीठा अंगूरों का गुच्छा देखा। इसके मुँह में पानी आया। वह इन्हें खाना चाहती थी किन्तु गुच्छा बहुत ऊँचा था। लोमड़ी इस तक नहीं पहुँच सकती थी। यह बार-बार उछली परन्तु व्यर्थ । यह बहुत दुःखी थी। "अंगूर खट्टे हैं" कहते हुए वह दूर चली गई। 
शिक्षा : हाथ नहीं आने वाले अंगूरों को खट्टा बताया जाता है।

He brought a golden axe. The wood-cutter refused to take it. Then the god brought a silver axe. He refused to take it also. At last the god brought his real axe and he accepted it. The god was pleased at his honesty and gave him all the three axes. 
Moral : Honesty is the best policy. 

एक ईमानदार लकड़हारा
एक बार एक ईमानदार लकड़हारा था। वह प्रतिदिन लकड़ी काटने जाता था। एक दिन वह एक नदी के पास लकड़ी काट रहा था। उसकी कुल्हाड़ी नदी में गिर गई। वह सहायता के लिए रोया व चिल्लाया। पानी के देवता प्रकट हुए। वह सोने की एक कुल्हाड़ी लाए। लकड़हारे ने मना कर दिया। तब देवता चाँदी की एक कुल्हाड़ी लाए। उसने इसके लिए भी मना किया। अन्त में देवता वास्तविक कुल्हाड़ी लाए और उसने इसे स्वीकार किया। देवता उसकी ईमानदारी से प्रसन्न थे और उसे सभी तीनों कुल्हाड़ी दे दी। 
शिक्षा : ईमानदारी सबसे अच्छी नीति है।

Once there was a cap-seller. He went village to village to sell the caps. One day he got tired. He slept under a tree putting bag beside him. There were some monkeys on the tree. They came down and took the caps away. On waking up, he did not find the caps. He saw that the caps were with the monkeys. He thought of a plan. He threw his cap on the ground. The monkeys did the same. He collected the caps and went away happily. 
Moral : Never lose heart. 

एक चतुर टोपी विक्रेता
एक बार एक टोपी बेचने वाला था। वह टोपी बेचने के लिए गाँव-गाँव जाता था। एक दिन वह थक गया। वह थैले को अपने पास रख एक पेड़ के नीचे सो गया। वहाँ पेड़ पर कुछ बन्दर थे। वे नीचे आए और टोपियाँ ले गए। जगने पर उसे टोपियाँ नहीं मिली। उसने टोपियाँ बन्दरों के पास देखीं। उसने एक योजना सोची। उसने जमीन पर अपनी टोपी फेंकी। बन्दरों ने भी ऐसा ही किया। उसने टोपियां इकट्ठी की और खुशी से चला गया। 
शिक्षा : कभी हिम्मत मत हारो।

The elephant made all the clothes dirty throwing water in the shop.

एक हाथी और एक दर्जी एक बार एक हाथी था। वह एक झील पर रोज पानी पीने जाता था। वह एक दर्जी की दुकान से होकर गुजरता था। दर्जी उसे रोज कुछ खाने को देता था। वे दोस्त हो गए। एक दिन दर्जी ने उसे कुछ भी नहीं दिया। उसने उसकी सूंड में एक सुई चुभोई। हाथी गुस्से में था। वह झील में गया और अपनी सैंड में गन्दा पानी भरा । दुकान में पानी फेंककर उसने सभी कपड़े गन्दे कर दिये।

एक शेर और एक चूहा एक बार जंगल में एक शेर रहता था। एक दिन वह एक पेड़ के नीचे सो रहा था। वहाँ एक चूहा आया तथा उसके शरीर पर उछलना शुरू किया। शेर जाग गया। उसने चूहे को पकड़ लिया। वह इसे मारना चाहता था। चूहे ने छोड़ने की प्रार्थना की और सहायता करने का वादा किया। शेर हँसा और चूहे को छोड़ दिया। एक दिन शेर,जाल में फँस गया। चूहा वहाँ आया और जाल को काट दिया। शेर खुश व स्वतन्त्र था।

The Clever Fox Once there was a fox. It was very hungry. It saw a crow in a tree. It had a piece of bread in its beak. The fox thought of a plan. It went under the tree and began to praise the crow. It said, “O, crow, your voice is very sweet. Please sing me a song." The foolish crow was very happy. It opened its beak to sing. The piece of bread fell down. The fox picked it up and ran away.
Moral : Keep yourself away from flattery. 

चतुर लोमड़ी
एक बार एक लोमड़ी थी। यह बहुत भूखी थी। इसने पेड़ पर एक कौआ देखा। इसकी चोंच में रोटी का एक टुकड़ा था। लोमड़ी ने एक योजना बनाई। यह पेड़ के नीचे गयी और कौए की प्रशंसा करने लगी। इसने कहा, "हे, कौए, आपकी आवाज बहुत मधुर है। कृपया मुझे एक गाना सुनाओ।" मूर्ख कौआ बहुत खुश था। इसने गाने के लिए अपनी चोंच खोली। रोटी का टुकड़ा नीचे गिर गया। लोमड़ी ने इसे उठाया और दौड़ गयी। 
शिक्षा : अपने आपको चापलूसी से दूर रखो।

He brought a sharp knife. He cut the stomach of the hen. He found nothing. There was no egg in her. He repented very much. He was very sad. 
Moral : Greed is a curse. 

एक लालची आदमी और एक मुर्गी एक बार एक लालची आदमी था। उसके पास एक अद्भुत मुर्गी थी। यह प्रतिदिन एक सोने का अण्डा देती थी। एक दिन उसके दिमाग में विचार आया कि उसे उसके पेट से सभी अण्डे ले लेने चाहिए। वह एक तेज धार वाला चाकू लाया। उसने मुर्गी के पेट को काटा। उसे कुछ भी नहीं मिला। उसके अन्दर कोई अण्डा नहीं था। उसने बहुत पश्चाताप किया। वह बहुत दु:खी था।

It brought some pieces of stones. It dropped them into the pitcher. The water rose up. Now it drank water and flew away. It was very happy. 
Moral : Wisdom pays. 

एक प्यासा कौआ एक बार एक प्यासा कौआ था। वह पानी की तलाश में इधर-उधर उड़ा। उसने एक घड़ा देखा। इसमें पानी थोड़ा था। उसकी चोंच पानी तक नहीं पहुँच सकती थी। उसने एक योजना सोची। वह पत्थरों के कुछ टुकड़े लाया। उसने इनको घड़े में डाला। पानी ऊपर आ गया। अब उसने पानी पीया और उंड़ गया। वह बहुत प्रसन्न था। 
शिक्षा : बुद्धिमानी का फल मिलता है।

एक लालची कुत्ता एक बार एक लालची कुत्ता था। एक दिन उसने कसाई की दुकान के पास एक हड़ी का टुकड़ा पाया। वह एक पानी की नदी के ऊपर की पुलिया को पार कर रहा था। अचानक उसने पानी में अपना प्रतिबिम्ब देखा। उसने सोचा मुँह में हड्डी का टुकड़ा लिए यह एक दूसरा कुत्ता है । वह लालची था। वह इसे भी लेना चाहता था। उसने उस प्रतिबिम्ब की तरफ भौंकना शुरू किया। उसका हड्डी का टुकड़ा पानी में गिर गया। वह बहुत दु:खां था।

Once there was a salt merchant. He had a donkey. He carried salt on it from village to village. One day they were crossing a river. All of a sudden the donkey slipped and fell down. When the donkey got up, it found the bag light. Now the donkey found the trick. It sat down in the stream every time it crossed it. The merchant wanted to teach it a lesson. Next day he put a bag of cotton on its back. It sat down in the same way. When it got up, it found the load very heavy. Now it gave up its habit. 
Moral : Tit for tat.

The lamb replied, “Sir, I am only four months old.” The wolf said, “Then it must be your mother.” The wolf caught the lamb and killed it.

Once there was a thirsty bee. It went to a pond to drink water. Unfortunately it fell into it. It was about to drown. A dove saw the bee and dropped a leaf to help. The bee came on the leaf and saved itself. One day "a hunter came to the forest. He saw the dove. He was aiming at the dove to kill it. The bee saw it. It stung on the arm of the hunter. The aim was missed. The dove flew away and saved the life. 
Moral : Do good and have good.

A Shepherd Who Lied
Once there was a shepherd boy. He took sheep to fields everyday. One day he cried, “Lion, lion help.” The villagers came there. They found no lion there. The boy laughed at them. He did so many times. After some days a lion came there in real. The boy cried again and again for help. But no one came. The lion killed the boy. The boy lost his life. 
Moral : Never tell a lie.

A Foolish Stag 
Once a thirsty stag came to a river to drink water. He saw his own reflection in water. He thought, “How lovely horns I have! But my legs are ugly." Suddenly he saw some hunters and hounds. He ran away at great speed. 
He was safe from them but unfortunately his horns got entangled into the bushes. He couldn't escape from the bushes. Soon the hounds came there and tore his body into pieces. The horns which he appreciated became the cause of his death while legs tried to save him. 
Moral : God made all things useful. 

एक मूर्ख बारहसिंगा 
एक बार एक बारहसिंगा पानी पीने के लिए नदी पर आया। उसने अपना प्रतिबिम्ब पानी में देखा। उसने सोचा, "मेरे सींग कितने अच्छे हैं ! किन्तु मेरे पैर बेकार हैं।" अचानक उसने कुछ शिकारी एवं शिकारी कुत्ते देखे। वह तेज गति से दौड़ा। वह उनसे सुरक्षित था परन्तु दुर्भाग्य से उसके सींग झाड़ियों में फँस गए। वह झाड़ियों से बच न सका। शीघ्र ही शिकारी कुत्ते वहाँ आ गए और उसके शरीर के टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर दिए। सींग जिनकी उसने प्रशंसा की थी उसकी मृत्यु का कारण बने जबकि पैरों ने उसे बचाने का प्रयास किया। 
शिक्षा : भगवान् हर चीज को उपयोगी बनाता है।
