Find four rational numbers between \(\frac{3}{7}\) and \(\frac{5}{9}\).
Answer:
L.C.M of 7 and 9 = 63
∴ \(\frac{3}{7}=\frac{3 \times 9}{7 \times 9}=\frac{27}{63}\) and \(\frac{5}{9}=\frac{5 \times 7}{9 \times 7}=\frac{35}{63}\)
∴ Rational no. between \(\frac{27}{63}\) and \(\frac{35}{63}\) are \(\frac{28}{63}, \frac{29}{63}, \frac{30}{63}, \frac{31}{63}\)
