RBSE Class 7 English Story Writing

परीक्षा में Story की रूपरेखा (outline) देकर पूरी कहानी लिखने के लिए कहा जाता है। कभी-कभी कहानी का एक या अधिक चित्र देकर भी कहानी लिखने के लिए कहा जाता है। कहानी लिखते समय हमें निम्न बातों का ध्यान अवश्य रखना चाहिये

(1) कहानी की outlines दी हुई होने पर उसे ध्यान से पढ़कर कहानी को समझना चाहिये। यदि कहानी के चित्र दिये हुए होते हैं तो उन चित्रों के आधार पर कथावस्तु का अनुमान करना चाहिये। प्रायः ये चित्र इस प्रकार के होते हैं कि इनको, देखने पर कहानी की कथावस्तु समझ में आ जाती है। 

(2) Outlines में कहानी का जो क्रम दिया होता है, यथासम्भव उस क्रम में कोई परिवर्तन नहीं करना चाहिए। इसी प्रकार यदि कहानी के चित्रों का कोई क्रम दिया हुआ होता है तो उनमें भी
यथासम्भव कोई परिवर्तन नहीं करना चाहिए। 

(3) कहानी की outlines वर्तमान काल (Present Tense) में दी हुई होती है किन्तु कहानी लिखते समय आपको भूतकाल (Past Tense) का प्रयोग करना चाहिए। 

(4) आपके वाक्य correct होने चाहिए तथा शब्दों की spelling भी correct होनी चाहिए। 

(5) ऊपर बीच में कहानी का 'शीर्षक' अवश्य लिखें। 

(6) Moral कहानी का नैतिक सार होता है। कहानी के अन्त में इसे अवश्य लिखें। 

(7) कहानी लिखने के बाद इसे पुन: एक बार पढ़ लेना चाहिए तथा grammar एवं spelling सम्बन्धी अशुद्धियों को ठीक कर देना चाहिए।

1. A Greedy Dog

A dog .......... very greedy .......... butcher's shop.......... piece of bone .......... goes over the bridge.......... water stream .......... sees its reflection .......... thinks it is another dog .......... wants to get his piece........... barks at him .......... piece falls .......... sad.

Once upon a time there was a dog. It was very greedy. One day it found a piece of bone near a butcher's shop. There was a stream. There was a bridge over the stream. The dog was crossing the bridge. It saw its reflection in the water. The dog thought that it was another dog with a piece of bone. The dog was greedy. It wanted to take it also. It began to bark at him. Its piece fell into the water. It was very sad. Moral : Don't be greedy.

एक लालची कुत्ता - एक बार एक कुत्ता था। यह बहुत लालची था। एक दिन उसे कसाई की दुकान के पास हड्डी का एक टुकड़ा मिला। वहाँ पानी का एक नाला था। नाले के ऊपर एक पुल था। वह पुल को पार कर रहा था। कुत्ते ने अपनी परछाईं पानी में देखी। कुत्ते ने सोचा कि हड्डी का टुकड़ा लिये हुए यह दूसरा कुत्ता था। कुत्ता लालची था। वह इसे भी लेना चाहता था। वह उसकी तरफ भौंका। इसका टुकड़ा पानी में गिर गया। वह बहुत दुःखी हुआ। शिक्षा : लालची मत बनो।

2. The Fox and the Grapes 

A fox..........very hungry............goes in a vineyard......... ripe grapes, ..........jumps again and again............cannot catch them..........goes away............says, “Grapes are sour"

Once upon a time there was a fox. One day it was very hungry. It went here and there in search of food. It went to a vineyard. It saw bunches of ripe and sweet grapes. It was happy. It wanted to eat them. But the bunches were high. The fox could not reach them. It jumped again and again. It could not catch them. It was tired. It said, "The grapes are sour. I shall not eat them." It went away. It was very sad. 
Moral : Grapes out of reach are said to be sour.

लोमडी और अंगूर -- एक बार एक लोमड़ी थी। एक दिन वह बहुत भूखी थी। वह भोजन की तलाश में इधर-उधर गई। वह अंगूरों के एक बगीचे में गई। उसने पके हए और मीठे अंगरों के गुच्छे देखे। वह खुश थी। वह उन्हें खाना चाहती थी। किन्तु गुच्छे ऊँचे थे। लोमड़ी उन तक नहीं पहुँच सकी।

वह बार-बार कूदी। वह उन्हें नहीं पकड़ सकी। वह थक गई। उसने कहा-"अंगूर खट्टे हैं। मैं उन्हें नहीं खाऊँगी।" वह चली गई। वह बहुत दुःखी हुई। शिक्षा : हाथ नहीं आने वाले अंगूर खट्टे बताये जाते

3. A Clever Fox and A Foolish

The crow was very sad. It repented. Moral : Keep away from flattery.

एक चतुर लोमड़ी और एक मूर्ख कौआ -- एक बार एक लोमड़ी थी। यह बहुत भूखी थी। वह भोजन की तलाश में इधर-उधर गई। उसने एक पेड़ पर एक कौए को देखा। इसकी चोंच में रोटी का एक टुकड़ा था। लोमड़ी वहाँ गई। उसने कहा-"औ कौए, तुम्हारी आवाज बहुत मधुर है। कृपया मुझे एक गाना सुनाओ।" कौआ बहुत खुश हुआ। इसने गाना गाने के लिए अपनी चोंच खोली। रोटी का टुकड़ा नीचे गिर गया। लोमड़ी ने इसे उठा लिया और भाग गई। कौआ बहुत दुःखी हुआ। इसे पछतावा हुआ।
शिक्षा : चापलूसी से दूर रहो।

4. The Thirsty Crow 

A crow ...... very thirsty ...... flies here and there ........... sees a pitcher ........... little water ........... thinks of a plan ........ pieces of stones ....... drops them into the pitcher ....... water rises up.......... drink water ........ flies away.

प्यासा कौआ -- एक बार एक कौआ था। एक दिन वह बहुत प्यासा था। वह पानी की तलाश में इधर-उधर उड़ा। उसने एक घड़ा देखा। उसमें पानी थोड़ा था। उसकी चोंच पानी तक नहीं पहुँच सकी। कौआ बहुत चतुर था। उसने एक योजना सोची। वह पत्थर के कुछ टुकड़े लाया। उसने उन्हें घड़े में डाला। पानी ऊपर आ गया। उसने पानी | पिया। वह बहुत खुश हुआ और उड़ गया। शिक्षा : बुद्धिमानी का फल मिलता है।

5. An Elephant and A Tailor 

An elephant .......... goes daily to a lake ......... passes a tailor's shop ......... gets something to eat ......... one day the tailor pricks a needle ......... elephant angry ........... throws dirty water in the shop .......... clothes dirty ........... tailor punished.

It filled its trunk with dirty water. The elephant came to the shop of the tailor. It threw dirty water into the shop. The clothes in the shop became dirty. The tailor was punished. He was very sad. Moral : Tit for tat.

एक हाथी और एक दर्जी -- एक बार एक हाथी था। यह रोजाना एक झील पर पानी पीने जाता था। वह एक दर्जी की दुकान से होकर गुजरता था। दर्जी उसे रोजाना कुछ चीज खाने | को देता था। हाथी दर्जी से बहुत खुश था। एक दिन दर्जी ने हाथी को खाने को कुछ नहीं दिया। उसने उसकी सूंड में सुई चुभो दी। हाथी बहुत क्रोधित हुआ। वह झील पर गया। उसने पानी पीया। उसने अपनी सूंड को गन्दे पानी से भर लिया। हाथी दर्जी की दुकान पर आया। उसने गन्दा पानी दुकान में फेंका। दुकान में जो कपड़े थे वे गन्दे हो गये। दर्जी को सजा मिली। वह बहुत दु:खी था। शिक्षा : जैसे को तैसा।

Once upon a time there was a farmer. He had four sons. They were very lazy. Once the farmer fell very ill. He thought of a plan. He called his sons together. He told them that there was a treasure hidden in the field. You should dig the field and get the treasure. The farmer died. His sons dug the field. But they did not find the treasure. Their neighbour advised the sons to sow seeds in the field. They did so. The crop was very good. Then they understood what their father wanted them to do. They worked hard in life. They became very rich. They were happy. Moral : Work is worship.

एक बुद्धिमान किसान/छिपा हुआ -- खजाना एक बार एक किसान था। उसके चार पुत्र थे। वे बहुत आलसी थे। एक बार वह किसान बहुत बीमार हो गया। उसने एक योजना सोची। उसने अपने पुत्रों को बुलाया। उसने उनसे कहा कि उसके खेत में खजाना छिपा हुआ पड़ा है। तुमको खेत को खोदना चाहिए और खजाना प्राप्त कर लेना चाहिए। उस किसान की मृत्यु हो गई। उसके पुत्रों ने खेत को खोदा। किन्तु उन्हें खजाना नहीं मिला। उनके पड़ोसी ने उन्हें खेत बो देने की सलाह दी। उन्होंने ऐसा ही किया। फसल बहुत अच्छी हुई। फिर वे समझ गये कि उनके पिता उनसे क्या कराना चाहते थे। उन्होंने अपने जीवन में कठिन परिश्रम किया। वे बहुत धनी हो गये। वे बहुत प्रसन्न हुए। शिक्षा : श्रम ही पूजा है।

7. A Hare and A Tortoise 

A hare ........ proud of his speed ....... laughs at a tortoise .......... challenges to have a race .......... race begins ........ hare runs fast ....... tortoise runs slow ....... tortoise left behind ......... hare sleeps under a tree ......... loses the race ......... tortoise wins the race.

एक खरगोश तथा एक कछुआ -- एक बार किसी जंगल में एक खरगोश और एक कछुआ रहते थे। वे मित्र थे। खरगोश को अपनी तेज गति पर गर्व था। कछुए की गति धीमी थी। खरगोश उस कछुए पर हँसता था। कछुए ने एक दौड़, दौड़ने के लिए खरगोश को चुनौती दी। दौड़ आरम्भ हुई। खरगोश तेज दौड़ा। कछुए की गति धीमी थी। कछुआ पिछड़ गया। खरगोश एक पेड़ के नीचे सो गया। किन्तु कछुआ चलता ही गया और लक्ष्य पर पहुँच गया। खरगोश दौड़ हार गया और कछुआ जीत गया। शिक्षा : धैर्यशील एवं कर्मठ व्यक्ति ही सफल होता

8. Two Friends and A Bear 

Two friends.........passing through the forest......... see bear coming.........one climbs the tree.......... the other lies on the ground..........bear comes...........smells the man........thinks him dead........... goes away.........the man comes down....... "What did the bear say in your ear?" ............. Never trust a selfish man.

He replied that the bear told me, "Never trust a selfish man." Moral : Never trust a false friend.

दो मित्र और एक भालू -- एक बार दो मित्र थे। वे एक जंगल में होकर जा रहे थे। उन्होंने एक भालू को अपनी ओर आते हुए देखा। एक मित्र भागा और एक वृक्ष पर चढ़ गया। दूसरा मित्र नहीं भाग सका। इसलिए वह जमीन पर लेट गया। भालू आया और उस आदमी को सँघा। इसने उसे मरा हुआ समझा और चला गया। अब दूसरा आदमी नीचे आया। उसने अपने मित्र से पूछा- "भालू ने तुम्हारे कान में क्या कहा?" उसने उत्तर दिया कि भालू ने मुझसे कहा"स्वार्थी आदमी पर कभी विश्वास मत करो।" शिक्षा : झूठे मित्र पर कभी विश्वास मत करो।

9. A Bad Company 

A rich man has only son ........ falls in bad company ........... father thinks of a plan .. father brings some fresh apples and a rotten apple .......... puts them in the basket ........ after two days all the apples go bad .. the boy learns a lesson.

Once a rich man had only one son. He fell in to a bad company. Father advised him to leave the bad company. But he did not leave. Father thought of a plan. One day he brought some fresh apples and a rotten apple. He asked his son to put all the apples in a basket. After two days all the apples were rotten. His father told the son that one rotten apple had made all the apples bad, so one bad boy would make all the boys bad. The boy learnt a lesson. He left the bad company. His father was very happy. Moral : Better alone than in a bad company.

बुरी संगति -- एक बार एक धनी व्यक्ति के केवल एक ही पुत्र था। वह बुरी संगति में पड़ गया। पिता ने बुरी संगति छोड़ने की उसे सलाह दी। किन्तु उसने नहीं छोड़ी। पिता ने एक योजना सोची। एक दिन वह कुछ ताजे सेब तथा एक सड़ा हुआ सेब लाया। उसने अपने पुत्र से सभी सेबों को टोकरी में रखने को कहा। दो दिनों के बाद सभी सेब सड़ गये। पिता ने अपने पुत्र से कहा कि एक सड़े हुए सेब ने तमाम सेबों को खराब कर दिया इसलिए एक बुरा लड़का सभी लड़कों को खराब कर देगा। पुत्र ने शिक्षा ली। उसने बुरी संगति छोड़ दी। उसका पिता बहुत प्रसन्न हुआ। शिक्षा : बुरी संगति की बजाय अकेला रहना अच्छा.

10. A Lion and A Mouse 

A lion ............ sleeping ............ a mouse ............... jumps on his body ........... the lion wakes up .............. catches the mouse........... wants to kill it ......... the mouse requests to leave him ............ promises to help......... the lion ............ leave .... hunters catch the lion in a net ............ comes and cuts ........... become friends.

एक शेर और एक चूहा एक बार एक शेर एक पेड़ के नीचे सो रहा था। एक चूहा वहाँ आया। वह शेर के शरीर पर खेला और कूदा। शेर जाग गया। उसे बहुत क्रोध आया। उसने चूहे को पकड़ा और उसे मार डालना चाहा। चूहे ने शेर से उसे छोड़ देने की प्रार्थना की। उसने शेर की किसी दिन सहायता करने का वायदा किया। शेर दयालु था। उसने चूहे को छोड़ दिया। एक दिन कुछ शिकारियों ने शेर को एक जाल में पकड़ लिया। चूहा वहाँ आया और अपने तीखे दाँतों से जाल को काट दिया। शेर जाल के बाहर आ गया। वे दोस्त बन गये। शिक्षा-कर भला, हो भला।

11. A Boy Who Lied

A shepherd boy ..... grazes sheep...... thinks of a mischief ...... cries "wolf ! wolf!!" ........ the villagers run to help him ..... no wolf ....... villagers angry .......... one day a wolf really comes ...... cries for help ...... people do not believe.

Once there was a shepherd boy. He grazed sheep in the forest. One day he was sitting and the sheep were grazing. He thought of a mischief. He cried loudly-"Wolf ! Wolf ! Help !" The villagers heard this. They ran to help him. When they reached there, they found no wolf. The boy was laughing at them. The villagers were angry. After some days a wolf really came there. The boy was much afraid and cried"Wolf! Wolf! Help ! Help!" People heard the cries but did not believe him. They did not go there. The wolf killed the boy. Moral : Never tell a lie.

एक लड़का जो झूठ बोलता था। एक बार एक गड़रिया लड़का था। वह जंगल में भेड़ों को चराता था। एक दिन वह बैठा हुआ था और भेड़ें चर रही थीं। उसे एक शरारत सूझी। वह जोर से चिल्लाया"भेड़िया! भेड़िया! सहायता करो।" गाँव वालों ने इसे सुना। वे उसकी सहायता करने के लिए दौड़े। जब वे वहाँ पहुँचे तो उन्हें भेड़िया नहीं मिला। वह लड़का उन पर हँस रहा था। गाँव वाले नाराज हुए। कुछ दिनों के पश्चात् एक भेड़िया वहाँ वास्तव में आ गया। वह लड़का बहुत डरा और चिल्लाया-"भेड़िया! भेड़िया! सहायता करो! सहायता करो!" लोगों ने चिल्लाने की आवाज सुनी किन्तु उन्होंने विश्वास नहीं किया। वे वहाँ नहीं गये। भेड़िये ने लड़के को मार डाला। शिक्षा : कभी झूठ मत बोलो।

12. An Honest Wood-cutter 

A poor wood-cutter ....... go ...... cut wood ......... his axe falls ....... the river .......... cries for help ...... god of water appears ..... brings out a golden axe and then a silver one .......... refuses ......... brings the real axe ........ accepts ...... god pleased ...... gives him all axes ...... wood-cutter happy.

Once upon a time there was a poor woodcutter. He daily went to cut wood. One day he was cutting wood near a river. His axe fell into the river. He wept and cried for help. The god of water appeared. He brought a golden axe and then a silver axe. He asked the wood-cutter to take the axes. He refused to take them because they were not his axes. Then the god of water brought his real axe. He asked the woodcutter to take it. He accepted it. The god was pleased with his honesty. He gave all the three axes to the woodcutter. He was very happy and thanked the god. Moral : Honesty is the best policy.

ईमानदार लकड़हारा एक बार एक गरीब लकड़हारा था। वह प्रतिदिन लकड़ी काटने जाता था। एक दिन वह नदी के निकट लकड़ी काट रहा था। उसकी कुल्हाड़ी नदी में गिर गई। वह रोया और सहायता के लिए चिल्लाया। जलदेवता प्रकट हुए। वह सोने की एक कुल्हाड़ी तथा फिर चाँदी की एक कुल्हाड़ी लाए। उन्होंने लकड़हारे से इन दोनों कुल्हाड़ियों को लेने को कहा। उसने उन्हें लेने से मना कर दिया क्योंकि वे उसकी कुल्हाड़ियाँ नहीं थीं। फिर जलदेवता उसकी असली कुल्हाड़ी लाए। उन्होंने लकड़हारे से इसे लेने के लिए कहा। उसने इसे ले ली। जलदेवता उसकी ईमानदारी पर बहुत खुश हुए। उन्होंने तीनों कुल्हाड़ियाँ उसे दे दी। वह बहुत प्रसन्न हुआ और देवता को धन्यवाद दिया। शिक्षा : ईमानदारी सर्वोत्तम नीति है।

13. Real Mother 

Two women .......... quarrelling over for a child .......... each claims .......... the child to be hers .......... goes to a judge .......... at first judge confused .......... cannot decide but he is clever .......... asks his man to cut the child into two halves .......... one woman shouts .......... no .......... the judge declares the child to be hers. 
Answer:
Real Mother -- Once there were two women. They were quarrelling over a child. Each woman claimed the child to be hers. They went to a judge. At first the judge was confused. He could not decide the case. But he was clever. He thought for some time. Then he asked his man to cut the child into two halves. But one woman shouted "Do not cut the child. Give the child to the other woman." The judge declared the child to be hers, because a real mother would not allow to cut her child. Moral : Mother's love can never be deceived.

असली माता -- एक बार दो स्त्रियाँ थीं। वे एक बच्चे के लिए झगड़ रही थीं। प्रत्येक स्त्री ने बच्चे के लिए दावा किया कि वह उसका है। वे न्यायाधीश के पास गयीं। न्यायाधीश असमंजस में पड़ गया। वह मामले का निर्णय नहीं कर सका। लेकिन वह चतुर था। उसने थोड़ी देर विचार किया। तब उसने अपने आदमी से उस बच्चे को दो आधे टुकड़ों में काटने को कहा। किन्तु एक स्त्री चिल्लाई-"बच्चे को मत काटो। बच्चे को दूसरी स्त्री को दे दो।" न्यायाधीश ने घोषित किया कि यह बच्चा उसी स्त्री का था क्योंकि एक असली माता अपने बच्चे को काटने की अनुमति नहीं देगी। शिक्षा : माता के प्यार को कभी धोखा नहीं दिया जा
सकता। 

14. A Donkey and the Load of Salt

A salt-merchant .......... have a donkey carries salt. .......... stream .......... all of a sudden .......... falls down. .......... washed away .......... finds the bag light .......... happy. .......... every time ............. wants to teach a lesson ............. puts a bag of cotton foolish donkey sits down ............. heavy ............. sad.

Once upon a time there was a salt merchant. He had a donkey. He carried salt on it. One day they were crossing a stream. All of a sudden the donkey slipped and fell down. A lot of the salt was washed away. The donkey got up. It found the bag light. It was very happy. Now it made it a habit to sit down in the stream every time. The merchant wanted to teach it a lesson. Next day he put a bag of cotton on its back. The foolish donkey sat down in the stream. When it got up it found the bag very heavy. It could not walk easily. The merchant beat it." The donkey was very sad. Moral : Tit for tat.

एक गधा और नमक का बोझ -- एक बार एक नमक का व्यापारी था। उसके पास एक गधा था। वह इस पर नमक ले जाता था। एक दिन वे एक नाला पार कर रहे थे। अचानक गधा फिसल गया और गिर गया। बहुत सारा नमक बह | गया। गधा खड़ा हुआ। उसने बोरी को हल्का पाया। वह बहुत खुश हुआ। अब उसने हर बार नाले में बैठने को अपनी आदत बना लिया। व्यापारी इसे सबक सिखाना चाहता था। अगले दिन व्यापारी ने उसकी पीठ पर एक रूई की बोरी रखी। मूर्ख गधा नाले में बैठ गया। जब यह उठा तो उसने बोरी को बहुत भारी पाया। वह आसानी से चल नहीं सका । व्यापारी ने उसको पीटा। गधा बहुत उदास हुआ। शिक्षा : जैसे को तैसा।

Once there was a king. The enemies attacked his kingdom and drove him out. He tried again and again to regain his kingdom but all in vain. He was disappointed. He gave up trying. He ran away and hid himself in a cave. There he saw a spider. It was trying to reach the ceiling. It tried nine times but fell down everytime. It was not disappointed. It tried for the tenth time and was successful. The king learnt a lesson. He tried once again. He won the battle and regained his kingdom.
Moral : If you try again and again you will succeed at last.

बार-बार प्रयास करो । एक बार एक राजा था। दुश्मनों ने उसके राज्य पर हमला किया और उसे भगा दिया। उसने अपना राज्य पुनः प्राप्त करने के लिए बार-बार कोशिश की किन्तु सब व्यर्थ रहा। वह निराश हो गया। उसने प्रयास करना छोड़ दिया। वह भाग गया तथा एक गुफा में छिप गया। वहाँ उसने एक मकड़ी को देखा। वह छत पर पहुँचने की कोशिश कर रही थी। उसने नौ बार कोशिश की किन्तु प्रत्येक बार नीचे गिर गई। वह निराश नहीं हुई। उसने दसवीं बार कोशिश की तथा सफल रही। राजा ने एक सबक सीखा। उसने एक बार पुनः कोशिश | की। उसने युद्ध जीता तथा अपना राज्य पुनः प्राप्त किया। शिक्षा : यदि तुम बार-बार प्रयास करोगे तो अन्त में | तुम सफल होंगे।
