2. Information Technology –
In order to ensure’e-governance in the govt, deptt. in the field of information technology, the govt, officials have been trained by the Deptt. of information and technology.

3. Other Area –
Continuous rise is going on in the people who are getting themselves registered with Aadhar Card project. More than 11000 kiosks are functioning in the state. The state public portal www.sampark.rajasthan.gov.in is being run successfully and is providing important information to the public or various govt, services.

4. Establishment of Technological University –
The ‘Raj. Technological University’ has been set up with the aim of spear-heading the technological education in the state. Many more engineering and management colleges have been established in the state where a large number of students are acquiring higher education in these fields. This has lead to increase in the number of technically qualified manpower.

Efforts on Economic Development in Rajasthan – Following efforts are made on economic development in Rajasthan –
1. Through the Industries Deptt. the Govt, is providing guidance and assistance for growth of small, medium and large industries, including the cottage and handicrafts industries. Currently there are 36 District Industries Centre and 7 Subcentres in the state to support necessary assistance and facilities for setting up of industries.

2. The Bureau of Investment Promotion is working as a coordinator between the state govt, and the investors for promotion of industries in the state.

3. The Industries Deptt. has signed an agreement of 3 years with the international Finance Corporation for knowledge partnership with the aim of attracting maximum in the state and for policy related assistance for new projects.

3. In order to expedite the industrial growth, RIICO has set up specialized industrial parks in the state, such as the Agro Food Park, The Japanese Zone in Neemrana, The Gems and Jewellery Park and the Textile Park in Jaipur etc. for promotion of industrial sectors like biotechnology, farm based technology etc.

4. The Rajasthan State has made such progress in the field of energy. The State’s major power plants include the Molecular Power Plant, Thermal Power Plants, Gas based Thermal Power Plant, Hydro Electricity Plant etc. As petroleum has been discovered in Barmer and Jaisalmer, it will give momentum to industrial growth in the State.
