In both the chapters, the position of kings was dominant and both the kings took good care of their subjects. The story tell us that the king keeps on checking the power of other kings and tries to save the lives of their people at the cost of his own life. In this chapter, the monkey showed the ultimate courage and saved the lives of his followers and sacrificed his life. In chapter 5, the kings tried to save the lives of their people while taking the charge in battlefields.

The Ramayana is an epic composed by Valmiki. This epic is about the victory of Good over Evil. This epic is about Rama, the prince of Kosala, who was sent to exile for fourteen years by his father. Rama’s wife, Sita was kidnapped by the king of the Lanka, named Ravana. Rama had to fight a battle with King Ravana to get his wife back. He won the battle against Ravana and returned to Ayodhaya, the capital of Kosala with his wife after his victory.
