What is a “dust of snow”? What does the poet say has changed his mood? How has the poet's mood changed? 
'बर्फ की धूल' क्या है? कवि क्या कहता है, किससे उसका मूड बदल गया है? उसका मूड कैसे बदल गया है? 
Answer:
A dust of snow is a collection of the tiniest particles of snow resting on the upper part of an object or a creature after a snow fall. 
When the crow shook down on him, the dust of snow from the hemlock tree has changed the poet's mood. 
Before the change of mood, the poet was idling away his time but after the change of mood, he made use of his time. 

बर्फ की धूल छोटे-छोटे बर्फ कणों का एक समूह है जो बर्फ के गिरने पर किसी वस्तु या जीव के ऊपरी भाग पर जमा हो जाते हैं। जब कौए ने हेमलॉक वृक्ष से बर्फ की धूल को हिलाकर गिराया तो उसने कवि के मूड को बदल दिया। मूड के बदलने से पूर्व, कवि अपने समय को व्यर्थ कर रहा था किन्तु मूड के बदलने के बाद, उसने अपने समय का सदुपयोग किया।

(iii) What do the 'crow' and 'hemlock' represent-joy or sorrow? What does the dust of snow that the crow shakes off a hemlock tree stand for?

Frost presents nature in an artistic and a symbolic way. The following answers reveal it

(i) Cuckoo, nightingale, lark, canary, crow, hawk, eagle, kite are the birds that are usually named in poems. Yes, a crow is also often mentioned in poems. A crow brings the images of sadness, sorrows, pessimism and loss to our mind. 

कोयल, बुलबुल, लावा-पक्षी, कैनॅरि, कौआ, बाज, गरुड़, चील आदि वे पक्षी हैं जिन्हें अक्सर कविताओं में स्थान दिया जाता है। हाँ, एक कौआ का भी अक्सर कविताओं में उल्लेख मिलता है। एक कौआ उदासी, दु:ख, विषाद व नुकसान की तस्वीरें हमारे मस्तिष्क में लाता है। 

(ii) Hemlock is a poisonous tree with small white flowers. The poet doesn't write about the more beautiful trees because he is pessimistic and idling away his time. 

हेमलॉक एक छोटे सफेद फूलों वाला एक विषमय वृक्ष है। कवि अधिक सुन्दर वृक्षों के विषय में नहीं लिखता है क्योंकि वह निराश है व अपना समय व्यर्थ कर रहा है। 

(iii) Crow and Hemlock represent sorrow. The dust of snow stands for the ray of hope. It makes the poet vivacious once again. 

कौआ व हेमलॉक दुःख के प्रतीक हैं । बर्फ की धूल आशा की किरण का द्योतक है। यह कवि को एक बार पुनः जीवंत कर देती है।

Yes, there have been times when I felt depressed or hopeless. Yes, I have experienced a similar moment that changed my mind that day. 
It was the day when my examination result was declared. I came to know that I had failed. I felt depressed or hopeless. Suddenly I saw a small ant carrying a heavy  grain. The small ant was failing again and again but at last it got success. My mood got changed the same day. I worked hard and obtained meritorious marks. 

हाँ, ऐसा समय रहा जब मैंने दुःखी या निराश महसूस किया। हाँ, मैंने भी ऐसे क्षण महसूस किये हैं जिसने उस दिन मेरा मूड बदल दिया। यह वह दिन था जब मेरा परीक्षा परिणाम घोषित किया गया। मुझे पता लगा कि मैं असफल हो गया था। मैं दु:खी व निराश था। अचानक मैंने एक छोटी-सी चींटी को एक भारी दाना ले जाते देखा। छोटी चींटी बारंबार असफल हो रही थी किन्तु अन्त में इसे सफलता मिल गई। मेरा मूड उस ही दिन बदल गया। मैंने कठिन परिश्रम किया और उच्चतम अंक से उत्तीर्ण हो गया।

हिन्दी अनुवाद-बर्फ के कणों ने मेरे हृदय की मनोदशा में परिवर्तन कर दिया और दिन का कुछ भाग बचा दिया जिसे भी मैं पछतावे में गंवा देता। 

कविता का भावार्थ-संवेदनशील व्यक्ति पर प्रत्येक क्रिया की प्रतिक्रिया होती है। कवि हेमलॉक नामक दु:ख रूपी वृक्ष से पीड़ित था। तभी कौए द्वारा वृक्ष से बर्फ को गिराना अर्थात् दुःख से ही आशा की किरण देखकर कवि की मनोदशा बदलती है अर्थात् वह कार्य करने व समय का सदुपयोग करने का साहस जुटा लेता है।
