Short Answer Type Questions

Question 1.
Cost of burger is ₹ 20\(\frac{3}{4}\) and of Mcpuff is ₹ 15\(\frac{1}{2}\). Find the cost of 4 burgers and 14 Mcpuffs.
Answer:
∵ Cost of 1 burger = 20\(\frac{3}{4}\) = ₹\(\frac{83}{4}\)
∴ Cost of 4 burgers = \(\frac{83 \times 4}{4}\) = ₹ 83
∵ Cost of 1 Mcpuff = 15\(\frac{1}{2}\) = ₹\(\frac{31}{2}\)
∴ Cost of 14 Mcpuffs = \(\frac{31 \times 14}{2}\) = ₹ 217
Total cost = ₹ 83 + ₹ 217 = ₹ 300
